dead

Terrance Stanley Fox was a Canadian athlete and cancer-research activist who in 1980, after losing his right leg to osteosarcoma, set out on a cross-Canada "Marathon of Hope" run, completing 5,373 kilometres in 143 consecutive days before being forced to stop when the cancer spread to his lungs.
