Rudolph William Louis Giuliani is an American politician and disbarred lawyer who served as the 107th mayor of New York City from 1994 to 2001. As Donald Trump's lawyer after 2018 he led the campaign to overturn the 2020 election results, organizing baseless allegations of voter fraud at a Philadelphia landscaping company and a now-famous press conference at which hair dye streamed down his face. He was indicted in Georgia on racketeering charges, was disbarred in New York and Washington in 2024, and was ordered to pay $148 million to two Atlanta election workers he had publicly defamed.
