Roger Federer is a Swiss former professional tennis player who held the ATP world No. 1 ranking for 310 weeks, including a record 237 consecutive weeks, and won 103 ATP singles titles—the second-most in the Open Era. His 20 Grand Slam singles titles, including a record-tying eight at Wimbledon, place him among the greatest players in tennis history alongside his rivals Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. Through the Roger Federer Foundation he has funded education for hundreds of thousands of children across southern Africa.
