Pharrell Lanscilo Williams is an American musician, record producer, and fashion designer whose work as half of the Neptunes production duo with Chad Hugo helped define the sound of mainstream hip-hop and pop in the early 2000s, producing 15 Hot 100 top-ten hits. His solo recordings, including the 2014 megahit "Happy," have earned him 13 Grammy Awards, while his fashion projects with Billionaire Boys Club, Adidas, and Chanel have established him as a leading figure at the intersection of music and design. In 2023 he was named men's creative director of Louis Vuitton.
