Mike Pence
1959 – 20??
Michael Richard Pence is an American politician and lawyer who served as the 48th vice president of the United States from 2017 to 2021 under President Donald Trump and previously as governor of Indiana from 2013 to 2017. As governor he signed one of the country's most restrictive abortion laws and a religious-liberty bill widely criticized as licensing anti-LGBTQ discrimination, and his administration's slow response to a needle-exchange request in Scott County contributed to a major HIV outbreak. As vice president he was the public face of Trump's most disastrous policies, including the family-separation immigration regime, before refusing the president's demand to refuse certification of the 2020 election results on January 6, 2021.
