David Madison Cawthorn is a former U.S. representative from North Carolina's 11th congressional district who served from 2021 to 2023 after becoming, at 25, the youngest member of Congress at the time of his swearing-in. He lost the 2022 Republican primary amid revelations of insider stock trading, accusations of cocaine and orgy use among his Capitol Hill colleagues, two arrests at airports for attempting to bring loaded firearms through TSA security, and the leak of sexually explicit photographs and videos from his personal devices. He was forbidden by court order from contacting fellow Republicans for harassment after his primary loss.
