Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio is an American actor and film producer whose work in biographical and period films has earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor for The Revenant (2015) along with seven additional acting Oscar nominations spanning more than 30 years. His major credits include Titanic, The Aviator, The Departed, Inception, The Wolf of Wall Street, and Killers of the Flower Moon. Through his Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation he has been one of the largest celebrity funders of climate and biodiversity initiatives, and he served as a UN Messenger of Peace on climate change.
