Lauren Opal Boebert is an American politician and gun-rights activist who has represented Colorado's 4th congressional district since 2025, after representing the 3rd district from 2021 to 2025. She has been one of Congress's most prominent QAnon-aligned and conspiracy-theory-promoting members, has heckled President Joe Biden during a State of the Union address, and was ejected from a 2023 performance of the musical Beetlejuice in Denver after vaping, recording video, and engaging in lewd conduct with her date during the show. Before her congressional career she owned Shooters Grill in Rifle, Colorado, where staff openly carried firearms.
