James Spencer Courier is an American former professional tennis player who held the ATP world No. 1 ranking for 58 weeks and finished as year-end No. 1 in 1992. He won four major singles titles in two years—two French Opens (1991, 1992) and two Australian Opens (1992, 1993)—and reached the final of all four Grand Slams, becoming the youngest man in the Open Era to do so. He has since become a respected on-court interviewer and television analyst at the major championships.
