Hope Charlotte Hicks is an American public relations executive and political adviser who served as White House communications director from 2017 to 2018 and again as counselor to President Donald Trump from 2020 to 2021. A longtime aide within the Trump Organization before joining the campaign and administration, she admitted to a 2018 House Intelligence Committee that her duties for Trump had included telling "white lies." She was a key witness in the 2024 Manhattan trial in which Trump was convicted of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to conceal hush-money payments.
