Enrique Roberto "Henry" Cuellar is an American politician serving as a U.S. representative for Texas's 28th congressional district since 2005. He was indicted in May 2024 by federal prosecutors on charges of bribery, money laundering, and acting as a foreign agent for the Republic of Azerbaijan and a Mexican commercial bank, accused of accepting roughly $600,000 in bribes through shell companies controlled by his wife. He is one of the last anti-abortion Democrats serving in Congress.
