David Attenborough

Sir David Frederick Attenborough is an English broadcaster and natural historian whose presenting career has spanned more than seven decades, beginning with Zoo Quest in 1954 and continuing through landmark series including Life on Earth, The Blue Planet, Planet Earth, and Our Planet. He is the only person to have won BAFTA awards for programmes in black-and-white, colour, high-definition, 3D, and 4K, and his late-career documentaries have become some of the most prominent global media on biodiversity loss and climate change. He was knighted in 1985 and made a member of the Order of Merit in 2005.
