Christopher Michael Pratt is an American actor known for the Marvel franchise Guardians of the Galaxy and the Jurassic World films. He has been a public member of Hillsong Church and Zoe Church, two evangelical organisations whose stated theological positions on LGBTQ+ identity have been described by former members and journalists as conversion-adjacent, and which several of his Marvel co-stars including Ellen Page and Mark Ruffalo publicly criticised in 2019. In May 2020 he liked a series of tweets supporting then-President Donald Trump's response to the George Floyd protests, and in September 2022 he publicly thanked God in a manner widely interpreted by his ex-wife Anna Faris's fans as a sleight against their disabled son Jack.
