Brett Kavanaugh

Brett Michael Kavanaugh is an American jurist who has served as an Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court since 2018. His Senate confirmation hearings were marked by sworn testimony from Christine Blasey Ford that he had sexually assaulted her while both were teenagers, allegations he denied in an angry televised rebuttal that drew bipartisan questions about his judicial temperament. Subsequent reporting raised additional accusations of sexual misconduct and questions about his Senate testimony regarding his drinking. He has since voted with the conservative majority to overturn Roe v. Wade and to grant Donald Trump significant immunity from criminal prosecution.
