Benjamin Aaron Shapiro is an American conservative political commentator and attorney who co-founded The Daily Wire in 2015 and hosts The Ben Shapiro Show, one of the most-listened-to political podcasts in the United States. He has built a large young-male following with rapid-fire combative debate appearances at college campuses, and his commentary has repeatedly platformed transphobic, anti-Palestinian, and Islamophobic positions. He has also publicly opposed federal civil-rights protections for LGBTQ Americans and has been a leading media voice supporting Israel's military operations in Gaza after October 2023.
