Sir Alexander Chapman Ferguson is a Scottish former professional football manager widely regarded as one of the greatest managers in the sport's history. As manager of Manchester United from 1986 to 2013 he led the club to 13 Premier League titles, five FA Cups, and two UEFA Champions League trophies, including the 1999 continental treble. He has also won three managerial honors from the BBC and FIFA, and was knighted in 1999.
