Aloysius Harry Simmons, born Alois Szymanski and known as "Bucketfoot Al," was an American Major League Baseball outfielder who finished his 20-year career with a .334 batting average and 307 home runs. With Connie Mack's Philadelphia Athletics in the late 1920s and early 1930s he won back-to-back World Series titles in 1929 and 1930 and AL batting titles in 1930 and 1931. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1953.
