Al Geiberger

Allen Lee Geiberger Sr. is an American former professional golfer who won 11 PGA Tour events including the 1966 PGA Championship. On 10 June 1977 at the Memphis Classic he became the first player to shoot a 59 in a PGA Tour event, an achievement that earned him the lifelong nickname "Mr. 59" and stood unmatched on the Tour for 14 years. He continued to compete successfully on the Senior PGA Tour into the 1980s and 1990s.
