Adrian Quist

Adrian Karl Quist was an Australian tennis player who won 10 Grand Slam doubles titles in the 1930s and 1940s alongside countryman Jack Bromwich, including eight consecutive Australian Championships from 1936 to 1950 with the war years interrupted in between. He also won the 1936 Australian Championships singles title and represented Australia in 28 Davis Cup ties, helping his country win the trophy in 1939. He served as a long-running tennis administrator after his playing career and was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1984.
