Adam Young

Adam Randal Young is an American musician and singer-songwriter best known as the founder and sole member of the electronica project Owl City, whose 2009 single "Fireflies" reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold more than five million copies in the United States. He has continued to release albums under the Owl City name across more than a decade, while also recording as Port Blue, Sky Sailing, and other side projects. He has collaborated with Carly Rae Jepsen, Hatsune Miku, and others, sustaining a productive independent recording career from his Minnesota studio.
