Adam Ondra

Adam Ondra is a Czech professional rock climber widely considered the leading sport climber of his generation, specializing in lead climbing, bouldering, and competition climbing. In 2014 he became the only male athlete to win World Championship titles in both lead and bouldering in the same year, and in 2017 he completed the first ascent of Silence in Norway, the first route ever graded 9c (5.15d)—the most difficult sport climb in the world. He has also been one of the few climbers to repeat the most demanding boulder problems and routes set by his peers.
