Adam Douglas Driver is an American actor and former U.S. Marine whose breakout role in HBO's Girls (2012–2017) earned him three consecutive Primetime Emmy nominations. His subsequent film work includes the role of Kylo Ren in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, an Academy Award–nominated performance in Marriage Story (2019), and major collaborations with directors including Martin Scorsese, Spike Lee, Noah Baumbach, and Michael Mann. He founded the nonprofit Arts in the Armed Forces, which brings free professional theatrical performances to U.S. military service members worldwide.
