Aaron Paul, born Aaron Paul Sturtevant, is an American actor best known for portraying Jesse Pinkman in the AMC series Breaking Bad (2008–2013), a performance that earned him three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He reprised the role in the 2019 Netflix sequel film El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie and during the final season of Better Call Saul. He has used his platform to support criminal-justice reform advocacy, including campaigns against capital punishment.
